Website privacy notice

1. Controller and contact

The website is operated by Emirhan Güler, based in Türkiye. Emirhan Güler is responsible for the personal data processing he carries out through this website. Send privacy questions and rights requests to emrhngler@gmail.com.

2. When you visit

When the website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare may process technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, request time, browser, and connection details to deliver the website, provide security, and prevent abuse. This is separate from the contact form.

The website code includes no advertisements, user accounts, visitor profiling, or third-party analytics scripts. Fonts are served from the website. Its code does not set analytics or advertising cookies; service providers may separately carry out security and verification operations. You can manage browser cache and cookies in your browser settings.

3. When you send a message

The form requires a message; name, email, and subject are optional. Submitted fields are delivered through FormSubmit to the Gmail inbox at emrhngler@gmail.com. If you email directly, your address, message, name and attachments if supplied, and correspondence dates are processed. Without an email address, you cannot receive an email reply.

Omitting your name or email does not make the submission technically anonymous. FormSubmit may process your IP address and technical request information to establish the connection, deliver the submission, or prevent abuse. The service may request verification. Do not submit passwords, identity documents, payment details, or unnecessary sensitive information.

4. Purposes and legal grounds

Messages are used only to consider and respond to your request and provide necessary follow-up, not to build a marketing list. Delivering and protecting the website and handling the communication you request rely on legitimate interests, limited to necessary information and balanced against your rights (KVKK Article 5(2)(f); GDPR Article 6(1)(f) where applicable). Limited records necessary for legal obligations or specific legal disputes may be processed on the relevant legal grounds.

This notice is not advertising consent or authorization for unlimited data use. You may leave optional fields blank and contact the developer by email instead of using the form.

5. Providers and international processing

Cloudflare delivers and protects the website; FormSubmit delivers form submissions; Google/Gmail processes and stores correspondence. These providers may use infrastructure outside Türkiye, including in the United States and other countries. Where legally required, relevant records may be shared with competent authorities. The developer does not sell contact messages or share them for advertising profiling.

The links below describe the providers’ own data use and safeguards. Use the contact address to request further information about international processing or records under the developer’s control.

6. Retention and deletion

Routine contact and support correspondence is retained for no more than 12 months after the request is closed; copies under the developer’s control are then deleted. Unnecessary information is deleted earlier. Limited records needed for a specific legal dispute or legal obligation may be retained while that reason continues.

FormSubmit states in its documentation that form submissions are archived for 30 days. This is separate from the retention of the copy in the developer’s Gmail inbox. Providers’ technical, security, and backup records are subject to their own practices; the developer cannot directly delete all of them.

7. Your rights and requests

Under applicable rules, you may request information about and access to your data, correction, or deletion when the conditions are met. Other rights under Türkiye’s KVKK remain available. Where European Union or United Kingdom rules apply, rights to restrict processing, object to legitimate-interest processing, and data portability may also apply when their conditions are met. Email emrhngler@gmail.com with the subject “Website Privacy Request.”

Provide enough information to describe your request and locate the relevant record; do not initially send identity documents or passwords. Proportionate additional verification may be requested when necessary. Requests are answered within applicable legal deadlines. You may have a right to complain to a competent data protection authority. A parent or guardian may also contact the developer if a child has shared personal information in a message.

This notice and its update date will change when processing or services change; additional notice will be given where applicable rules require it.
